Crypto Gambling Platform Raises $15M From Investors

Winna.com revealed this week that it has secured $15M in seed funding for its newly launched cryptocurrency gaming platform. The firm did not disclose the investors supporting the company during its initial phases. 

However, it did indicate that the additional funds will enable the company to expand its offerings, particularly in player-versus-player games. The additional resources will enable faster expansion.

"We aim to develop more innovative crypto games that continue to deliver an industry-low house edge of just 1%,” Paul Martens, CEO and co-founder of Winna.com, said in a recent company statement.

Winna.com provides games like mines, plinko, roulette, blackjack, keno, and dice. Winna.com additionally provides slot games, live casino games, and content from suppliers like Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and Evolution. 

Furthermore, Winna.com offers a cryptocurrency sportsbook featuring matches from the NFL, NBA, UFC, MLB, and the Premier League. 

Winna.com started its operations during the summer. It currently boasts around 10,000 players and has corporate offices located in Costa Rica and Switzerland. 

According to Martens, the increased funding arrives as online gambling platforms for crypto and Bitcoin are becoming more popular.

"More and more players are recognizing the significant advantages that crypto and Bitcoin casinos offer over traditional online platforms,” Martens added in the statement. “Privacy and the ability to gamble anonymously are key drivers for this shift.”

On December 17, Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $108,316. In recent days, the price has declined, and as of Friday morning, it was trading at $96,200 in London, according to Bloomberg News. 

VIP Initiative 

Winna.com also offers a VIP program.
